Week 4 - Day 2
This may be the opposite of other people, but I love doing cardio workouts. I actually enjoy a good run. There’s something about feeling all of your muscles move that makes it exciting. Not to mention feeling the ground beneath your feet and watching everything pass by…it’s great.
Week 4 - Day 1
As much as I love vacation (and I truly love being down in Disney), I was ready to get back into my routine. I like being consistent in my day-to-day life and starting it off with a workout is becoming second nature to me.
Week 4 - Day 0
Whelp, coming back from vacation, I knew we probably gained some pounds, but it still sucks seeing. If we don’t count the 2 lbs lost from being sick that we knew was temporary, that’s about a 3 lb gain. Honestly though, that’s pretty normal for a vacation. If you don’t gain some weight on vacation, I have no idea what you were doing.
Week 3 - Day 5
Since yesterday I only managed to get around 18,000 steps when park hopping between 2 parks, I decided to do something a bit crazier. What if we jumped between all 4?
Week 3 - Day 0
Alright, we are all better from our food poisoning and just in time because we are heading for vacation! When I first started this journey, I knew about this upcoming trip that I had. I actually have several trips planned before the end of the year, but that’s beside the point. I almost delayed this entire experiment till the new year (New Year’s Resolution and all that nonsense), but then I thought about it better and said, “No, we have to do this now”.
Week 2 - Day 4
I definitely didn’t stick to my schedule this day because I didn’t even really get to bed till about 4:00 am. Finally got up around 9:00 am feeling a bit better and decided to ignore whatever was wrong last night. Usually, for me at least, if I ignore that I’m sick long enough, my body will start to feel better. I was really hoping that would be the case today.
Week 2 - Day 3
I think I could look forward to these yoga days. Or, sorry, “Active Recovery” days. I didn’t think I would like yoga as much as I do. There’s something about getting into a deep stretch and just feeling your muscles that I really enjoy. It also relieves the stress and tension you (or at least I) get built up throughout the week.
Week 2 - Day 2
I usually enjoy a good challenge. Today was not one of those days. As soon as I see one of these exercise acronyms like HIIT or AMRAP, my brain shuts down and I don’t want to move.
Week 2 - Day 1
Yesterday, we did our queries for the new week, got our exercises in place, got our meals planned, now it’s time to execute. First up, full body workout day.
Week 2 - Day 0
I could NOT wait for this day. Not only is seeing the new plan exciting, but I was interested in seeing what the AI Life Coach provided next. I was still so surprised with how Week 1 went, that I just had a good feeling about this Week 2.
Week 1 - Day 6
I know, I know. I said I was only going to do the weekdays for this experiment, but here is the unexpected issue. My workout room currently doubles as my office. Therefore, if I want to play on my computer or gaming stations, I’m down around my equipment.
